INSANITY GROUP UNITES TALENT, MUSIC, AND STUDIOS DIVISIONS FOR NEW BBC COMMISSION: ‘YOU ABOUT?’ WITH ROMAN KEMP AND TOM GRENNAN

In a standout example of its fully integrated entertainment model, Insanity Group brings together talent management, its record label, and independent production company for its latest high-profile commission, this time from the BBC.

Produced by Insanity Studios Limited, ‘You About?’ is a brand new podcast hosted by broadcaster Roman Kemp, who is represented by Insanity Talent Management, and chart topping musician Tom Grennan, who is signed to the Insanity Records label.

Launching on BBC Sounds on Tuesday, 20 May, ‘You About?’ offers raw, funny, and unfiltered conversations between two of the UK’s most recognisable personalities.

Commissioned by BBC Radio 5 Live for BBC Sounds and YouTube, this new series is not only a celebration of authentic friendship but also a powerful showcase of Insanity Group’s cross-division collaboration, delivering end-to-end creative, production, and commercial expertise under one roof.

Leading this innovative approach is Edd Buckley, Insanity Studios’ Head of Digital Content, who brings over a decade of experience producing digital content for some of the UK’s biggest entertainment brands, including The X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Love Island, and The Voice. His expertise in delivering high impact digital content across both linear TV and streaming platforms is central to the visualisation strategy behind ‘You About?’.

The podcast is produced by James Deacon, a seasoned audio producer with extensive experience delivering high profile series for major broadcasters and brands, including Spotify, Sony and Audible. His recent credits include producing at BBC Radio 1 and on the acclaimed “David Tennant Does a Podcast With…”, ensuring the series combines both editorial depth and entertainment value.
