Mis-Teeq

Mis-Teeq are one of the most influential British girl bands of their generation, pioneering a genre-defying blend of UK garage, R&B, hip-hop and reggae that helped bring underground club culture into the mainstream. Formed by Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash, the group emerged at the forefront of the UK garage explosion in the early 2000s, selling more than 12 million records worldwide and achieving seven consecutive UK Top 10 singles, including ‘Why?’, ‘All I Want’, ‘One Night Stand’ and their global smash hit ‘Scandalous’.

Their landmark debut album, Lickin’ On Both Sides, reached No. 3 on the Official UK Albums Chart and was certified Double Platinum, while follow-up album Eye Candy further cemented their status as one of Britain’s most exciting and successful acts. Their impact extended internationally, with ‘Scandalous’ charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and featuring as the theme song for the 2004 film Catwoman. Alongside major awards and nominations, including a MOBO Award for Best Garage Act and a BRIT Award nomination for British Urban Act, Mis-Teeq helped reshape British pop music, fashion and culture, inspiring a generation of artists in their wake. Now, following a 25-year hiatus, Mis-Teeq are back, celebrating the music, memories and legacy that made them one of the most defining British acts of their era.
