CJ Beatz
DJ, Producer, Tastemaker & occasional Film critique - CJ Beatz does all of the above very well. Having travelled across the World doing shows in Beijing, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Munich & Beirut amongst others; CJ has also DJ’d on various U.K. tours with Bashy, Lethal Bizzle & Wretch 32.
CJ has graced many a festival stage including Glastonbury, Creamfields, NassFest & Boardmasters no name a few. In 2009, CJ secured a M1X show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. He has since gone onto present show’s on BBC Radio 1 as well as host live events for both stations. In late 2013 CJ Beatz teamed up with Jordan Crisp to form WiDE AWAKE; a Production / DJ duo who set clubs & radio alight with the release of their instrumental “HaKKaTron”. Following on from a great year in 2014 where WiDE AWAKE officially remixed Philip George’s chart topping single “Wish You Were Mine” which made its stamp across the airwaves of radio’s top tastemakers as did their rework of Hannah Wants and Chris Lorenzo’s “Rhymes”. Their relentless touring captured Dance floors nationwide & their various festival bookings were certified crowd pleasers. It’s safe to say that the London based duo are making a statement of intent.
