Vick Hope

She/Her

A Nigerian-Geordie with a Cambridge degree, Vick Hope is a multilingual, multi-skilled and multifaceted broadcaster spanning TV, radio, podcasts and much more. Dubbed ‘the voice of a generation’ by Sunday Times Style, ‘a broadcasting powerhouse and future shaper’ by Marie Claire, and ‘your new best friend’ by Cosmopolitan UK - Vick has fast become one of the nation’s favourite broadcasters, presenting two national Radio 1 shows each week, bringing her trademark warmth, sense of humour and empathy to two very different formats: Going Home with Vick and Jordan - Radio 1’s famous daily Drivetime slot - plus ‘Life Hacks’ every Sunday - a show designed to support the mental wellbeing of Radio 1’s listeners. Following a stint as a Women’s Prize for Fiction panel judge in 2021 and having written and published two children’s books alongside former co-host Roman Kemp, Vick also proudly hosts the highly acclaimed Women’s Prize for Fiction podcast, Bookshelfie - a weekly podcast where Vick interviews and celebrates many of the world’s most exciting and revered literary talent, exciting new voices and book lovers. Elsewhere, Vick works as an ambassador for Amnesty International and Choose Love (Help Refugees) and is a regular supporter of Comic Relief.

From presenting award winning shows across radio and television (including her own Sunday morning show on ITV ‘Vick Hope’s Breakfast Show’, co-hosting the iconic Pointless on BBC One, Glastonbury coverage across the BBC and The Paralympics coverage on Channel 4) to writing books and standing up for human rights, Vick’s upbeat personality means she exudes confidence and is always able to connect with her audience, however intimate or large.

Recent live event hosting jobs include: BAFTA Film 2023, British Society of Magazine Editors Awards 2023, Music Week Awards 2023, GQ Heroes 2023, Stylist Live 2023 and much more.

A keen advocate for the power of nature, Vick is the first celebrity ambassador for Liz Earle skincare - a role in which she champions natural ingredients, natural beauty and self-acceptance - often requesting that her images go unretouched so that ‘real skin’ can be seen across editorial and in store. Elsewhere, Vick is an ambassador for Pandora Jewellery - a campaign that celebrates lab-grown ethical diamonds and the important role they play within the fashion industry.

A red carpet favourite, Vick’s often self-styled looks regularly make the ‘best dressed’ pages, with highlights including both the Film and TV BAFTAs, the Grammy’s, British Fashion Awards, Harpers Bazaar Women of the Year, the Brits, GQ Men Of The Year Awards and much more. Vick has appeared on a range of covers including Cosmopolitan UK, HUNGER’s coveted September Issue, You Magazine, Arcadia, Rollacoaster, Hello Fashion Monthly and many more.

Recent brand work includes: Pandora, L’Oreal, Liz Earle Beauty, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Jessica McCormack, Hourglass Cosmetics, Neutrogena, Samsung, Mastercard, Seedlip non-alcoholic botanicals.
