Harry Benjamin

He/Him

Harry is a dynamic broadcaster best known for his work in Formula 1.

As the lead voice for BBC Radio 5Live’s F1 coverage, Harry has become a trusted authority in the sport. In 2024, he made history by joining the Sky Sports F1 team as the first-ever deputy for lead commentator, Crofty. His career has also included roles with F1TV, Formula 2, and Formula 3, as well as hosting Sky F1’s groundbreaking Kids Takeover programme.

Recognised early in his career as one of broadcasting’s rising stars by Global and BBC Radio 1, Harry’s journey began with a stint as a temporary producer for the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show alongside Dave Berry—all whilst still studying at university.

Harry’s warm, approachable, and energetic approach has made him a sought-after choice for both broadcasters and global brands, including Samsung, BBC Three, Netflix's Drive to Survive, Goodwood, and Children in Need. His versatility extends to live events, where he regularly hosts for Ferrari, Porsche, the FIA, CarFest, Silverstone, and WTF1.

Beyond Formula 1, Harry’s talents span other sports, including golf, table tennis, and MotoGP.

An accomplished performer, Harry trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), honing skills that have seen him delight audiences in sell-out comedies at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and theaters across the UK. His on-air charisma has also led to roles hosting for Bauer’s Hits Radio and Global’s Heart, appearing on BBC Radio 2’s Late Show, and reporting on the Olivier Awards red carpet for Magic Radio and SiriusXM.

Harry’s passion for storytelling, reliability, and charm make him a standout in the world of sports and entertainment.
