Victoria is an award-winning adaptive fashion designer, broadcaster, disability advocate, speaker and author.
Victoria is the lead fashion designer and expert on Channel 4’s series, The Unique Boutique. She has also featured on The One Show (BBC One), Dragon’s Den (BBC Two) and Channel 4 News.
She has worked as a garment technologist in the fashion industry for 16 years and became disabled in her mid 20s which resulted in her having a variety of gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal conditions. This is what led to her founding Unhidden, a socially responsible, universally designed fashion range for disabled and non-disabled people which is also the first brand of its kind to join the British Fashion Council. In 2023, Victoria produced a ground-breaking inclusive and accessible fashion show featuring her Unhidden designs at London Fashion Week.
In 2022, Victoria was listed as No 3 in The Shaw Trust’s Disability Power 100 List and she has been named by Fast Company as one of 2023’s most creative people in business. She has also written a book, The Little Book of Ableism, and her TedX talk, Fighting Ableism Through Fashion, is available to watch on YouTube.
Victoria is an ambassador for Models of Diversity, Purple Tuesday and Parallel as well as being a patron of Kurt Geiger’s Kindness Foundation.
