Nina Hobson is an ex British Detective of 15 years working in the areas of covert operations, major crime, and close personal protection. Nina has led several high-profile investigations including those investigating murder, rape, kidnap, and global fraud of over $100 million. As female bodyguard she has protected several celebrities and dignitaries around the world.

In 2005 Nina exposed corruption within the British police by carrying a covert camera for 10 months placing her at considerable danger and risk of imprisonment. After her resignation she was engaged as an equal opportunities’ adviser for the police and Nina’s documentary Undercover copper, received award nominations including UK Woman of the Year and a BAFTA nomination for Dispatches. Nina continued to shed light on serious issues through television working on Rape in Crisis for Channel 4 and had her own series commissioned, Undercover Mum.

Nina founded and operated Op Shadow, a non-for-profit rescuing sex trafficked children and her philanthropic work includes working with SAVE, an Australian based charity supporting protection of rhinos and has worked on the front line with the anti-poaching rangers in Zimbabwe acting as security advisor and covert operative. In 2006 Nina was a finalist in the UK Woman of the Year for services to the country and was one of 6 finalists in the Australian Woman of the year in 2014 and 2016.

While still running investigations in her “free time”, Nina is a sought-after investigative consultant in the industry and has upcoming projects with Half Yard productions, Imagine for Discovery+ and Netflix, to be released this year. Nina is the host of her true crime podcast, Codename Siren, continues to consult on scripted & docuseries for multiple networks and has a few of her own projects in development as well!
