I registered Insanity.com in 1992, and since that time I have gotten well over a thousand inquiries from people who would like to buy it from me. When I registered Insanity.com no one had even thought of the possibility of buying or selling domain names for profit, and that wasn't why I registered the domain. I registered it because it was cool, and it has served me well over the years. People might forget my phone number or loose my address, some even forget my name, but they always remember Insanity.com.

Now everyone wants a cool domain name, so it's not surprising that I've fielded over a thousand inquiries as to whether I'm willing to sell it. I have sold a two domain names I no longer needed -- including DCB.com, a very valuable three-letter domain name I no longer needed after Direct Connect Books went offline -- but I've kept Insanity.com. Over the years this domain has become almost synonymous with my name and the creative and technical services I offer.

Bottom line? I'm not really interested in selling Insanity.com. I mean, sure, if someone offered me a good money I'd be tempted, but keep in mind that I started working, writing about, and investing in the high-tech sector since the early eighties. I'm not easily tempted to sell.

So, generally speaking, Insanity.com is not for sale. If you're really interested in buying it anyway, please make sure you tell me what dollar figure you're considering, because I pretty uniformly ignore emails that don't include a dollar figure. Please also consider the many people who have already offered me good money, and been turned down.
